These are some of the miscellaneous parts we’ve added to give the bike a completed look.

DIP STICK: PIT POSSE Aluminum billet ($15).

CAM COVER: FACTORY METALS Aluminum ($18).

CRANKCASE VENT:  Hose (Auto Fuel) / APPLIED filter.

FUEL FILTER: Gold billet fuel filter ($12).

VENT HOSE: Gas cap vent with silver billet tip ($12).

BRAKE ADJUSTER NUTS: PIT KING ($10).

CARB DRAIN HOSE: Piece of Green Fuel Line.

SPARK PLUG: NGK IRIDIUM. As good as they get.

TAPET COVERS: There are a lot of aftermarket tappet covers out there . After searching for a while I decided to save money and just polished them with a dremel. They came out great!

FENDER MOD: I raised the front fender. For details on how I did this see the ARTICLE: Front Fender Modification.

TECH TIP: The cam cover didn’t come with a gasket so I got some high temp gasket material in a tube from an auto supply store. Apply a small bead, install cover and remove any excess. Worked great, never leaked.

TECH TIP: The cam cover is removed by loosening the bolt on the RIGHT side of the head. To get the cover off without trying to pry it off loose the bolt several turns (do not remove) and tap the bolt with a plastic mallet, then remove completely.
